Okay To Play is an organization that encourages foster-care children and orphans to play! Research shows that the lack of play is directly related to motor, sensory, and cognitive skills. Play allows children to learn skills that they cannot in a classroom setting.

We collect and recycle donated used electronics, including computers, PDA’s, cell phones.  With the funds from recycling, we purchase toys and children’s wish-list items, such as soccer balls, basketball hoops, and even playgrounds!

We are a family organization, started by Vasiliki and Nikephoros Argeroplos when they were  ages 11 and 15, respectively. We began in a small conference room with six people, and now Okay To Play is in Maryland, Ohio, New Jersey, and New York. We have brought toys to orphaned children in Greece and Afghanistan as well. Our organization is a registered 501(c)(3), created solely to make children happier.
